International Women’s Day is on 8th March this year and to celebrate we will be having a cocktail degustation at Bloodwood restaurant in Newtown, NSW on Sunday 13th March. The day will feature a menu that is bold, packed with flavour and inspired by the spirits and cocktails that we will be tasting, created by Bloodwood's Claire Van Vuuren and her team Sarina Fang, Deanne Paramaxidis and Jessica. While enjoying your meal you will also hear from 5 fabulous Australian Distillers who will speak about their experience in the industry.

This year's International Women's Day focus is 'Break the Bias' and Anther Distillery is hosting an event to help illuminate how we can achieve this TOGETHER! Join a panel of women from the media industry breaking the barriers set against them and how we can disrupt the negative bias of how women are portrayed in the media. The panel is hosted by Dr Dervilla McGowan, co-owner and internationally awarded distiller of Anther Distillery.
As women in Australian receive an average weekly wage that is on *average 14.2% less than males, and so, Anther Distillery is offering a ‘wage gap’ discount for people who identify as women. Use code 'WAGEGAP' for special price.
The Tasmanian Whisky & Spirits Association is partnering with Australian Women in Distilling Association to celebrate IWD. Join them at Society Salamanca on Tuesday, 08 March from 6pm for a welcome cocktail, light food and some great speakers who will share their stories. Speakers on the night include:

Join UN Women on Friday 4 March 2022 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre to celebrate the women leading change and highlight the actions everyone can take to create a brighter, more equal future.
This year features an exclusive in-depth interview with internationally renowned and celebrated scientist, conservationist and human rights activist, Dr Jane Goodall. Dr Goodall will be virtually interviewed by Linh Do, a sustainability activist and leader in her own right.
This breakfast event will take place on 16th March from 8am and is located at Adelaide Convention Centre. Go and hear from, Author and highly sought-after speaker, Kemi Nekvapil, feminist and human rights activist Khadija Gbla and proud Wiradjuri and Wailwan woman, lawyer and storyteller, Teela Reid, will be hitting the stage to share all their wisdom. There will be book signings, meet + greet with speakers and a few surprises, too.
This year the Darwin Innovation Hub is hosting a lunch with a panel of amazing guest speakers. These women are all founders of their own businesses, executive corporate MD’s and CEO’s, executive government, and other phenomenal Territory women.
