Introducing the newest distillery to our stable of fine Australian producers 'Timboon Railway Shed Distillery' situated in Timboon, Victoria.
Born and bred in Timboon, Victoria, introducing distiller and owner of Timboon Railway Shed Distillery Josh Walker and his beautiful wife to be and co-owner Caitlin.
Timboon is located 216 km south-west of Melbourne via the M1 and Princes Highway, 299 km via the Great Ocean Road and 17 km north of Port Campbell.
The whisky made at Timboon Railway Shed Distillery is a single malt whisky, distilled in a 600 litre Knapp Lewer copper pot still, using malted barley as the only grain ingredient.
Josh's inspirations are the great single malts of Scotland and the Isles, so it’s only natural that his own whisky is made to the same time honoured traditions.
Timboon Distillery has reluctantly submitted to the excise man with an aim to produce whisky of "quality not quantity".
